Hot Architecture

Keith Andrews established the research group Abstract Machine in 2007. Working with students of Leeds Beckett University where he is a senior lecturer.

 

The group focus on digital tools and modern methods of construction, using visual scripting to define design strategy and generate form. Abstract Machine members work in many of the worlds leading architectural practices.

 

Rosemarie Andrews' research focus is the integration of digital compliance, checking into design and construction workflows.

 

Rosemarie writes and speaks on the subjects of digitisation of the planning system, building regulations and procurement.

 

Together they bring this cutting edge thinking to every project within the HA studio.
